Somehow the blogger meeting report fell through my blog cracks. Here it is:
After class, I went to meet the southbay bloggers at the Barefoot Coffee Roasting Cafe on Stevens Creek.
I was kind of tired after a long day but the barrista managed to bring a smile on my face when he painted a flower into my latte cup with the milk. It looked so nice that fling who is NOT fling but maybe Jon took a photo of it. Our group was rather small with Rich, Antwon, Hank, Courtney, Fling who might be Jon, and me there. Unfortunately I have missed Elke and Maria, a newcomer, who obviously were there before I got out of class.
Fling who is not Fling presented a white plastic hand which he had got from a company with the request to take a photo for a contest with the topic, "It's good to be touched" - or so. We had all kinds of suggestions such as using the hand as seat on your bike (fingers straight please) or sticking the hand into plants or furniture.
As always, it was nice to meet the "usual" crowd, and I went home in better mood than I had arrived.
Correction: I tried to correct the mistake the below comments have been brought to daylight: the person I matched to fling who loves the fishies is not fling and fling suggested that this one might be Jon but isn't Jon the German expatriate married to Jill?
Can somebody please tell me who this nice gentleman is I am talking to since one year, every two weeks, during the blogger meetings??? And fling does not have a face to match anymore for me - I just know the blog - so could you please introduce yourself to me, fling, next time you are at the blogger meeting?? It cannot be
Elke or Courtney - oh no, don't tell me now I mixed them up, as well! And who is Munichmaedchen anyway?:-)
Um, I wasn't there. Maybe you're thinking of Jon?

oops, fling is jon and jon is fling. Somehow, this mistake stuck with me for the entire year I am meeting you guys at the blogger meeting. I completely mixed you up. Now I have to find a shrink who helps me dematching Jon's face from fling's weblog :-).
