It is official - we have become trailer trash. We bought this goose-neck travel trailer today in Sacramento for $ 1000. It is in great shape although old and we like that the color design somehow fits our new old Ford Ranger, see below. The travel trailer even has the same name, Ranger. Truck and trailer are simply a match in heaven. The goose-neck has a huge kingsize bed on the raised part accessible through a carpeted step. In the lower part is a kitchen pantry with a brandnew refrigerator, a double sink, an oven and storage. Opposite to the kitchen is a small bathroom with a separate shower. In the front is a table with two seats that can be converted into a second bed. It has air condition and water. We plan to take the truck and the trailer to the desert for camping during our Christmas holidays. We may visit Death Valley and/or Clay's little brother who lives in Las Vegas.
Truck and trailer together cost us $ 3000, not bad. Of course we will invest into a brandnew mattress for the bed, overhaul the entire trailer and wash ex- and interior.
At home, we will store the trailer in our backyard, hey Karl, next time you visit you will have a guest room!
We had a really good day in historic old Sacaramento about which I will write another time. It was the first time for me to visit "the Sack" and I was impressed how old historic buildings melt with modern architecture. They did a hell of a job there.

Nice truck.
